News and Updates Archive

August 8, 2005: I know, I know! It's horrible! I went most of July without any updates. I am so incredibly sorrowful. I've beaten myself with the cat o'nine tails repeatedly.

July uh, "4th", 2005: Yeah, so it's a day after the 4th. And two days late for the strip. Quality takes time. I make no guarantees about the quality of the quality. I use the word merely to describe that the strip has certain qualities about it, like...it's in color. And it has words. And there's a cat in it. Yeah. So Happy Independence Day, everyone!

June 5, 2005: I bet you're absolutely flabbergasted. You wake up on Sunday morning, and lo and behold...the strip for this week is actually up! You say to yourself, "Wow! That guy actually does what he says he'll do sometimes! I'm going to give him all my money! And my firstborn son! And I'll name my boat after him, too! Life is fantastic! I'm going to join the Peace Corps and build a bridge in Nigeria! I just want to give back to the world, make things right again, the way things should be. Yeah, from this day on, I'm a new person!" I know. I know. I change lives. I try.

May 30, 2005: A day late and a dollar short, but here nonetheless.

May 15, 2005: Here it is. Sorry 'bout that whole missing week thing.

April 3, 2005: For those of you who only check this site out on Sundays, I should let you know that I updated on Tuesday of last week, so be sure to check out last week's strip if you missed it.

March 28, 2005: My apologies for getting this up late this week...and I hope that those of you who were complaining are satisfied now. Well? Are you?

March 13, 2005: Just a quick note to any of you who might feel compelled to visit Budapest, Prague, or some other such Central/Eastern European locale for vacation: Wait until spring.

February 27, 2005: I will be heading out to Budapest tomorrow, so Schrodinger won't be updated for probably the next couple of weeks. But as I'm sure you're all used to spotty updating, I wager you all have the strength of character necessary to deal with such an event.

February 14, 2005: I hope you all have had a wonderful Valentine's Day. I apologize for not getting this strip up on time, but at least it's up IN time for the holiday.

January 30, 2005: You know, it's not like computers catch the flu from not washing their hands or anything. In order for a computer to get a virus, someone has to go out and actually MAKE the damn thing, and then deliver it. Why is this such a fascination for people, to inflict irreparable damage on total strangers? Why is it that people such as myself, wishing harm to no one, suddenly find their computers completely unresponsive and lose all the data on their hard drive? Someone tell me why. It makes no sense to me.

January 2, 2005: Welcome to Year 3 of Schrödinger, and happy New Year. I hope you had all the fun that's appropriate to watching a single digit change in the somewhat arbitrary number of our calendar year. I mean, hey...if that's not something to get worked up about, what is?

December 14, 2004: Break out the fireworks and mistletoe. Not only is this the Christmas special, but it's also the 100th Schrödinger comic. Can't you feel the excitement? Can't you feel the energy? Aren't you blown away by the sheer magnitude of the event? Tell me about it. Come on, people, make your voices heard! And stuff.

November 28, 2004: I hope you all had a grand Thanksgiving. I was so preoccupied with the stresses of roasting my first turkey that I plum forgot to put up a strip last week.

October 31, 2004: I apologize for the overlong delay in putting up a new strip. But fret no more, here's a new one. Happy Halloween.

September 12, 2004: I'm not lazy! It's not my fault! My DSL was down, so I couldn't put the strip up! I swear!

August 28, 2004: The strip is up a day early this week, because I'm moving. Rather than not update the strip while I'm in transit (which would be my normal course of action), I've decided to get it up before the madness starts. So, enjoy.

August 8, 2004: Hallelujah! It's been over a month, but by god, it's back! So quit yer whinin'. I had other things to do, okay? It's not like I get paid for this or anything...I have to work, you know...does it sound like I'm rationalizing my laziness? Well, so what? We all have to be lazy once in a while, right?

June 29, 2004: Due to personal events, Schrödinger will be down for an indeterminate time.

May 17, 2004: The server went down for a bit, so this page was inaccessible for a bit. And lo, when it came back, it had reverted to its status from a few days ago. So now, here it is in its true and present form.

May 9, 2004: I got this up a little late tonight. But it's here.

April 11, 2004: Happy Easter, everyone. For those of you who celebrate easter. Or who at least know about it.

April 1, 2004: Ha! You didn't believe me, did you?

March 28, 2004: I apologize again (been doing an awful lot of that lately). For personal reasons, Schrödinger won't be updated this week. Well, not today anyway. Maybe later on this week.

March 18, 2004: Yeah, yeah, I know...it's too late for the St. Patrick's Day Special. But I don't care. My name is Patrick, so I'm gonna do the Patrick thing whenever I darn well please.

March 6, 2004: Apologies again to those few of you who actually read this comic regularly...I've been transitioning from my old computer to a new one, and it hasn't been entirely painless. Hence, the delay on my updating. But you can rest easy knowing that my new computer has a flat screen that makes my strips look cool when I'm working on them. Not that that really affects any of you at all...oh, never mind.

January 4, 2004: Happy New Year everyone! I'm back, I apologize for the missing couple of weeks. Rest assured that won't happen again. Unless, of course, it does.

December 18, 2003: As I am going to be out of town for the next couple of weeks, this page won't be updated until January. So I leave you with this Christmas Special. Merry Christmas, everybody.

December 7, 2003: I apologize for my laziness. Here is an update. Finally.
